Is this thing on?

This blog is for my theatre class. Occasionally we will be given prompts to complete, but for the most part, this will be used for whatever happens to be on my mind at the moment.

This first post is meant to be an introduction. So... hi. Lindsey here. I'm 15 years old and I just started my sophomore year of high school. Yikes. The time has gone by so fast.

My interests include writing, reading, drama (I am the Historian of Thespian Troupe 7189), graphic design, art, and more. I enjoy overanalyzing fictional characters, smart television (and occasionally some pretty bad television), movies new and old, and I am never not reading something. I carry a notebook with me at all times to jot down ideas and to sketch.

I love my cats dearly. You might see me talking about them a lot. Their names are Marie and Moxie, and they are about as different as night and day.

I am very invested in social issues, especially LGBTQ+ rights. I consider myself to be a feminist. I also pay attention to politics.

Chris Colfer is my biggest inspiration. Other people who inspire me greatly include Rachel Maddow, John Green, J.K. Rowling, and Darren Criss.

In addition to using this blog as a place to put my thoughts, I may also post the occasional sample of my writing. We will see how that goes.
